For Expectant Moms: How to Decide On Which Stuff You Should Spend Money

May 31, 2010 | In: Family, Parenting, Personal Finance

New moms would be pleased to find out that they can prioritize the things they need to buy for their pregnancy. There are some stuff that are more important to have than others and here they are:

Purchase a pregnancy pillow. A lot of expectant moms find it difficult to sleep, and remember that adequate rest is important to the mother and the child’s health. A pregnancy pillow can help ease the discomfort.

Buy one or two pairs of comfortable shoes – one for everyday wear, and the other for work, if you go to the office. Do not buy more as your feet may change back to normal after pregnancy, but these are good to have for your comfort, especially if you are mostly on your feet.

Keep yourself warm. Purchase a nice comfortable robe. This will also be helpful when you give birth in the hospital.

Feel relaxed, pretty, and pampered. Aside from the physical discomforts, expectant moms tend to agonize over their looks and their changing bodies. To feel really beautiful, you can indulge yourself to some spa services. Avail of the prenatal massages. However, it is best to ask your doctor for advice regarding this before you subject yourself to one.
