Exercising on Campus
You don’t need a gym if you’re a college student. All you need is some creativity and resourcefulness and you’ll soon have all the exercise and sweaty work-out you’ll ever need.
Make use of the campus facilities. Use the pool for an hour of swimming or the track for some running or jogging in the morning or late afternoon. If you live inside the campus or near the campus, you can do some walking around the grounds for an hour or so.
Use the stairs instead of the escalators or the elevators. Who needs a step machine if you can have the real thing!
If you can’t find the time to exercise before or after classes, you can still do so in between. Try to walk the long way when you get from one class to another (granted that you have ample time to do so as we still don’t want you to be late for the next class).
If you live near the campus, you can always cycle your way to school instead of taking the bus. This is not only great exercise for you, but it is also environment friendly.
