For Students: How to Organize School Materials

July 29, 2010 | In: Education

Here are some tipz on how to organize your things for school.

Make sure that you don’t have any clutter in your bag, locker, and desk. Clean them out regularly, throwing trash, worn out pencils, and other stuff you don’t really need. Once a week, every Friday should do it.

Check your school supplies and replenish those that need replenishing such as notebooks, notebook paper, folders, pencils, and erasers. This can be done quarterly.

Have a notebook for each subject. Or you can have a binder. Simply divide notebook paper accoridng to your subject. This is good for note-taking. Writing everything on a single notebook without order will make it difficult to use later when you study at home.

Have a clipboard or folder or envelope where you can keep test results, papers, and school letters. File them when you get at home according to type and subject.

Have a slim notebook, or if you have a laptop, you can use an electronic planner, where you can note down important deadlines or exam dates.
