High School Students: How to Stop Procrastinating
April 30, 2010 | In: Education

There are a lot distractions for high school students nowadays. With all of these going on, how can students focus on their studies?
The top distraction students have is computers. If you own one, and you find yourself using it a lot, you can cut the time you spend for your computer use. Simply make a schedule so that you get to use your computer last.
Allot yourself about three hours after you’ve done all your other homework and your studies. You can use the computer for two hours for research and writing term papers. The last hour you can use for checking your e-mail and browsing through your usual online hang-outs.
Do not study in your room where you have your computer, your bed, and other stuff which can distract you. Stay where you can do your work quietly. This can be in the library or in your home’s study.
Work on a realistic schedule. Whether it’s two or three hours a day, make sure that you focus on just studying, and that alone.
