How to Apply Eyeshadow

Eyeshadow Application

Applying eyeshadow need not be daunting. Just follow these simple tips and you’ll have fabulous eye make-up in no time!

Get your equipment ready. You will need an eyeshadow brush (small and flat in shape with compact bristles) and a blending brush (rounder tip with loose bristles). You can ask your make-up lady for help if you are new to this. You can also start with a powder eye shadow palette.

Prep your eyelids. Apply a base. There are products there called primers for this purpose but regular foundation will do just fine. The base will help make the make-up stay on longer and it also makes for a more even application.

Apply the eyeshadow. You may experiment with colors. Apply make-up using the eye shadow brush and then use the blending brush to blend  the colors together or use it to even out the application.

Finish the look by brushing a bit of loose powder. Then apply  eyeliner (optional) and mascara.
