Buying a Laptop Case
Buying a laptop bag or case shouldn’t be too hard, although there can be a lot of choices out there. The ultimate factor to consider is of course, how you will use it.
Obviously, your laptop should fit inside the case. If it’s a sleeve, it should be snug. If it’s a bag or a case then you will also need to consider if it’s large enough to accommodate extra accessories such as cables, extra battery, mouse, headset, external hard drives, etc.
Another point to consider is your lifestyle. Sleeves can be fit into a backpack or suitcase, but then again, you’d have to bring an extra case for the accessories. Will you be always on the go? There are laptop cases which are already backpacks so this type of case would probably suit you more. Do you meet clients in a more professional setting? Then perhaps a more expensive leather, formal case should be more apt.
The case’s durability and its ability to offer protection from the elements is another factor. If you need to travel a lot, then find something sturdy and weather proof. Security can also be considered. High end cases have locks to deter prying eyes (and hands)
Last but not the least, choose a case that suits your style – casual or formal or cute, it’s all up to you.
