Gifts for Co-Workers
One thing about choosing gifts to your co-workers, especially if you really aren’t that close, is that you can give something very practical. Something that they can use in the office. Here are some suggestions:
Personalized Stationery. Have your co-worker’s name monogrammed on a pen. Buy a matching set of stationary with his or her name printed on every sheet. Not only is this gift practical, but it also makes the recipient feel that you’ve put some thought into the gift.
Calendars. These are functional gift items. Make sure however that you give something nice and more suited to the recipent’s personality. If your co-worker is fond of cars, why don’t you get him or her a calendar of his favorite F1 team. If your co-worker likes photography, then a calendar of great photos can make his or her day.
Picture Frames. For your co-workers who like to keep mementos, a picture frame can be a nice gift item. They can put there photos of their friends and family, or drawings made by their kids or nephews and nieces.
Organizers and Notebooks. The most suitable gifts for the neat and organizing freaks. They will surely can’t wait to break in the new crisp pages of an organizer.
Gift cards and tickets. These can come across as thoughtless. But, if you do your homework well, they can be the greatest thing to your co-worker since his or her last raise. Ask around what artist or restaurant or your co-worker likes or frequents.
