How to Choose a Wig
April 22, 2010 | In: Beauty and Grooming

People wear wigs for different reasons, which means you don’t have to be bald.
If you wish to change your look without doing drastic things to your hair, you can use wigs instead.
Choose between synthetic hair or natural hair. Natural hair, which is actually real hair, will of course look and feel more like real hair. However they will react to humidity and may go frizzy or flat. It is also heavy and can be hot during warm weathers.
Synthetic wigs are easier to wash and dry, and its color will remain vibrant even with exposure to the sun. However, if synthetic hair comes too close to a heat source, the fibers may melt.
Natural hair is also more expensive than synthetic hair.
Wigs can come in different styles as well. Just take your time choosing wigs and trying them on until you find something that you like. If it doesn’t fit or feel right, don’t push it.
