A wedding is supposed to be a wonderful and memorable event. Don’t let the lack of a huge budget deter you from making it a fairy tale. Here are some tipz on how to keep the budget small by saving on wedding favors:

Wedding favors are part of tradition, true, but it is not really a requisite. If you do not feel bothered by not giving wedding favors to guests on your wedding day, then there is no rule that keeps you from doing away with them entirely.

Stick to simple. You don’t have to have elaborate wedding favors. You can stick to the usual mini chocolate boxes. Trust me, it is not the wedding favors that keep your guests reminded of your weddings – it’s the memories.

Get your crafts supplies out. If you don’t have a lot of guests and you or your fiancee and friends are quite handy with crafts, why not make wedding favors on your own? It can be time consuming, but it can help keep the budget down, and not to mention the quality time you can spend with each other or with family and friends.

Buy in bulk. This is true for ready-made favors or materials for do-it-your own giveaways. You can always depend on buying in bulk instead of item-by-item. You can also use this idea on other items on your wedding preparations.
