A messenger bag is a practical accessory that girls on the go can use daily. It can also be versatile, depending on the style. Here are some tipz on how to choose the right messenger bag for your needs:
Stuff. Yep, how will you stuff your bag? Will you be carrying a laptop and other gadgets? Heavy items such as books and tons of reports? Probably just some personal belongings? If you’re going to carry a laptop, buy a bag that is waterproof and soft enough to cushion your laptop (even if you place it in a protective sleeve). If you’re going to carry heavy things, make sure that the strap is wide and sturdy.
Choose a bag that has an adjustable strap. So if you’re a little vertically challenged, you can simply adjust the length of the strap and you won’t have to trip on your bag.
If you carry lots of minute things such as pens, erasers, pencils, etc., look for a bag that has lots of compartments and pockets. Messenger bags often have divided compartments so you can carry files and keep them in order.
As for material, a strong and thick canvas bag will last a lifetime. Before you pay for it, check if all the zippers work, and if it has double stitching for extra strength.
