How to Clean a Coffee Maker
March 23, 2010 | In: Cleaning

Here are tips on how to thoroughly clean your coffee maker.
To avoid getting hard-to-clean stains, make sure that you dispose of the cofee grounds as soon as possible. Pour out old coffee if you have no plans of drinking it.
Wipe down the parts of the coffee maker using a damp cloth. Use a soft one so it won’t scratch the coffee maker.
Verify if your coffee maker is dishwasher safe. Follow the instructions printed on the manual. As an alternative, you can fill a sink with hot soapy water and let the washable parts soak in it.
Rinse well and dry using another clean, soft cloth. Keep in a place where it won’t get much food splatter.
