It’s quite easy to clean marble counters. Here are some tips and suggestions on how:
Clean marble counters everyday. Simply have a handy dish of water and detergent handy and a cotton cloth so you can wipe the marble counter after you use it.
Wipe away food spills as soon as possible, especially lemon, vinegar and other acidic food or chemicals. Don’t forget to wipe the marble counter dry. Leaving it to air dry will show watermarks.
Wax your marble counters three to four times a year. Do this after cleaning the counter with warm water and a soft cotton cloth. Dry as usual and apply wax, using circular motions. Buf to shine.
If you just got your new marble counter, it is best to apply a selaer. This will give your marble protection from absorbing food stains.
