How to Conduct a Job Interview
May 24, 2010 | In: Career

Being an interviewer doesn’t mean that you are allowed to do what you want.
In my opinion, being the job interviwer is a tough job, as you will need to listen attentively to answers, note the interviewee’s body language, and you’d have to make that important decision of hiring or rejecting the job candidate.
Try to stay in focus. It can be difficult especially if you’re already on your 10th interview for the day and you’ve been hearing the same thing over and over. Remember, this task is important.
A fidgety interviewee can mean that he or she is nervous, but it can also mean that they’re lying. If you lose your focus, you might not differentiate between the two.
Do your homework before you go out there. It’s always good to know about the position that’s being filled. Scan the resume before the interviewee comes in. Take note of the questions you’d like to ask.
