Are you craving for some wonderful breakfast omelet but you’re on your own and you have no idea how to cook one? Don’t worry, grab some eggs, cheese, and a pan and we’ll teach you how to cook a simple ham and cheese omelet!
Choose 3-4 medium eggs or 2 large eggs and beat them in a bowl until they’ve become light and fluffy. Add a dash of salt and pepper.
You can have any type of cheese you want. It is your preference after all. Grate the cheese and set aside.Get the ham and chop it into small pieces.
Heat your pan on medium heat for about three minutes. Melt a tablespoon of butter in the pan and spread it on the bottom evenly. Pour your eggs into the pan. Cook until you see bubbles forming at the sides.
Take your spatula and run it under the omelet once you’ve checked that the sides are already firm. You can tilt the pan so that the liquid in the middle can run into the pan.
Place the chopped ham in the middle. Add the cheese on top. Cover the pan and cook for about 35 seconds until the cheese has started to melt. Take the cover off and flip the omelet. Cover the pan and cook for another 35 seconds.
Voila! Your ham and cheese omelet is now ready to serve!
