How to Create a Windows 7 Recovery Disc
November 2, 2009 | In: Computers
So you’re messing around Windows 7. (Most likely, it came with that new computer you just bought. If you’re an early adapter who bought one off the shelf, you may skid reading this.) Then something goes wrong. Suddenly your computer’s acting wonky – something that’s part of a Windows user’s life. Watcha gonna do?
If you bought your computer brand new and it comes with Windows, it’s most likely that you’d have Windows 7 presintalled and you don’t get a DVD installer. So that means you won’t have any means to do a clean installation, just perhaps a recovery partition (something that eats up your computer’s disk space), or worse, nothing at all.
Now, this DVD isn’t readily available. Microsoft provides you with ways to create one on your own but it’s a tedious process and requires a deeper level computing skills. Good thing NeoSmart created them for everyone and is making them available for everyone to download. Here are the links to their torrent files:

If you have no idea how to torrent, CyberNet News provides MediaFire links:

Simply download a copy of the ISO files and burn them to a CD using a burning program like Nero or ImgBurn. Just make sure you keep the CD in a safe but accessible place just in case something bad (and invetibale) happens. And when it does, simply put it in your CD/DVD drive when starting your computer.
If the recovery interface of 7 works anything like Vista, then you surely must have one because it works. I had tried it around three times with Windows Vista and it sure saved me from huge pickles.
