Space in Kids’ Room
Children grow at a rapid rate and their needs change constantly. Before you know it, their bedrooms have been filled with toys, clothes, and whatnots that they don’t really use anymore. Here are some tipz on how to free your children’s room from unwanted clutter:
The top tip is to prevent clutter. The way to do this is to not going overboard when buying things for your children. Just take note of what they need and that’s what you’ll just have to get.
Sometimes, friends and relatives give kids’ items as gifts so double check everything before buying. Also, choose versatile clothing and toys.
If you have older children, or if you know someone who has older kids, you can always go for hand me downs (or buy at a discounted price). This way, you not only save on storage space, you also get to save more money. You can also do it in reverse. If your children have outgrown clothes or toys, you can always hand them down or you can donate them to charity.
Use technology. Instead of accumulating videos and audio cds, why not subscribe online? You can get your children an mp3 player and speakers and have them listen to audio books.
Get your children a desk and a toy chest of their own. Having their own work area will keep other parts of the house clutter free.
Use the walls for sports equipment and other things. Install pegs and racks and you’ll keep things off the floor.
