Here are more tips on how to eat healthy:

There is nothing better than to be armed with information. Know which food is healthy and which are not. Find out the benefits of each food item. Find out how many calories each item has.

The simpler, the better. If you’re eating out, don’t hesitate to ask what the ingredients are in the dish you want to order. You can even ask how it is prepared so you’ll know if it’s been deep fried or whatever.

Drink less alcohol. Milk shakes, fruit juices, and carbonated drinks too should be limited. If you want to be sure that what you’re drinking is healthy, stick to good plain drinking water.

You don’t have to eat little. Just be wary of the portion sizes of the food you are eating. If you’re eating a meal, it’s best to arrange your food on the plate by sections. Make sure that the section for the vegetables is the biggest. Portions for carbohydrates and meat should be less.

Be careful of condiments. Even if you eat vegetables but if you smother them with butter sauce or salad dressing, it really won’t do you any good.
