How to Energize Yourself at Work

Do you find yourself yawning at work even if it’s not even beyond noon? You might need energy boost, especially if you have some pretty important tasks to finish. Here are healthy ways of boosting energy while at work:

Drink water. Dehydration can result to headaches and fatique. A full glass every hour can keep you well hydrated. Avoid coffee as much as possible. If you need a caffeine fix, opt for tea instead.

Fruits and nuts can provide the much needed sugar to help your brain stay awake. Stay away from snacks with lots of sugar and preservatives.

Take a break. Remaining immobile at your desk will not do you any good. Stretch your muscles and do some breathing exercises. Take a 5 minute walk to the other wing of the building or you can walk a lap around the park outside your work (granted that the weather is fine).

Chat with someone for a few minutes or listen to music. The key here is to change your routine. Following a rigid schedule can make your day boring and uninspired. Changing your routine once in a while can keep things lively.
