Women like the feeling of being wooed by men. It tickles their bones and makes them weak in the knees. The intensity grows when the man who’s chasing her is also the one she likes the most. Call it mutual attraction.

Not all men, though, are the same in their personalities and in the things they like. Where women are concerned, different men like different female personalities. Some go for the strong type while the others go for the more feminine.

Women know that it can be tough to get a guy to like us. But with a little effort and some imagination, one can always succeed in this endeavor. Just be patient and have a positive attitude and you’ll eventually get what you want.

Be friendly. A girl who’s friendly has the opportunity of meeting many people including men. This is one great benefit of being a nice and approachable person. Men today go for the outgoing personality who is easy to befriend. But be careful not to be tagged as easy to get. Being friendly is just being open to meeting other people and expanding one’s circle of friends. This should not be misinterpreted as flirting.

Be at the right place. Good for you if the guy you like is your officemate because you get to see him every day. If you’re still in school, though, you have to be at the right place at the right time especially if you’re not classmates. A common friend could help you meet him in person so don’t hesitate to request. Do make sure as well that when you’re in the same place, he notices you.

Respect yourself. Men are attracted to women who have self-respect. In other words, know your limitations when it comes to meeting guys or hanging out with them because some men shy away from women who are pretty outgoing that they’re always in the company of guys. Keep in mind that there are still men who prefer the conservative type of girls.

Let him do the move. Avoid making the first move all the time if you want to talk to a guy you like. Instead, let him initiate the action so that it doesn’t get into his mind that you’re the one chasing him. While it may already be the age of computers and you think that all people have become liberated, it’s just not so. Perhaps you can talk to him if there’s really something important you need to discuss such as if it pertains to office work or school activities.

Accept his call. A guy who’s interested in a girl will always attempt to make a phone call. Now, this is your chance to show him that you’re a nice person and easy to like and perhaps easy to love. When he’s started calling you, it would be okay then to call back once in a while. But remember not to make the first call because your action might be misinterpreted. Talk about the things you like or what happened to your day. This is the best way to find out whether you share something in common.

Look clean and neat. While men have varying preferences, the one important asset they look for in a girl is good hygiene. They like women who smell and look good all the time. You don’t have to follow the latest fashion in clothes, shoes and accessories just to get the attention of a guy but you can get a guy to like if you know how to carry yourself in whatever type of attire you’re wearing.
