You don’t need expensive jewelry cases for your earrings. If you have lots of these accessories, here are some tips and suggestions on how to store them without breaking your budget:
Buy pencil trays in supermarkets office supply stores. They are shallow enough and they can fit easily in dresser drawers.
You can also buy ice cube trays. You can put small enough earrings into each slot. You can line them with felt or soft tissue first so as not to scratch the jewelry.
This can also be the same with egg cartons. Again, to glam it up a bit, you can line it with velvet cloth or tissue or felt.
Plastic craft bags are also perfect for storing earrings. They can be very cheap and each bag can hold a pair of earrings. These craft bags can then be put in a basket. You can label the bags so you’ll know how to find specific pairs you need.
