How to Go on Inexpensive Family Vacations

Family holidays need not be expensive. Simple things wherein family members can bond is just as great as flying off to some exotic place.

If you live near a lake, pond, river, or a beach, you can go on a day trip with your family. Bring along toys, a blanket and food for nourishment.

Check your community board for local events such as cookouts, or summer fairs, or concerts. Bring your family along to these events and bond with the community as well.

Go to local sports events. If your kids play little league, you can take the whole family to watch the game and offer support.

Pitch a tent in your backyard. Spend a night bacyard camping with your kids. do some stargazing before you go to sleep.
