How to Grill Vegetables
June 16, 2010 | In: Cooking

Grilling is one tasty way of cooking vegetables. If
you’re tired of steaming, boiling, and sauteeing your
greens, this one good alternative to try.
You can cook directly on the grill. Perfect vegetables for this are corn, carrots, asparagus, eggplant, squash, and onions, and tomatoes. Simply prep the vegetables. Wash them, cut them, and season with salt and pepper. You can brush them with oil and grill for 3-5 minutes.
Another method to use is to cut vegetables such as zucchini, mushrooms, squash, onions, and peppers into thick cubes. Skewer with clean bamboo or metal skewers. Grill until browned.
You can also use foil to grill vegetables. Potaotes, sweet potatoes, etc. Grill them whole, or cut vegetables into chunks. Place them in a pouch made of foil. Add sliced onions and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle a bit of olive oil. Place on top of the grill or on top of hot coals and let cook.
