Heavy traffic and the daily hustle and bustle of people during rush hour can make commuting to work a living hell. Here are some tipz on how to have a less stressful commute. And maybe, just maybe you won’t get to the office with your patience already on the verge of snapping.
If you want to avoid the heavy traffic, you can always adjust your alarm clock 15 minutes earlier. Those 15 minutes can actually make a big difference.
You can talk to your boss and see if you can adjust your time accordingly. If you can be at work half an hour or an hour early, then maybe you can leave leave an hour early in the afternoon as well. Or perhaps you can come in later in the morning and stay for the same length of time in the afternoon.
You can try changing your route to work. Taking back roads instead of dealing with roads with heavy traffics can be more conducive to your peace of mind.
Do you have a CD player in your car? Or maybe you have an MP3 player? You can listen to some relaxing music or radio show that can keep your mind from the traffic.
If you don’t want to drive everyday to work, perhaps you can car pool with some people from work. This way you don’t have to deal with the stress everyday for the whole week.
