How to Have Faster Metabolism

exerciseComplaining that your body is slower than molasses when it comes to burning fat? Then help it get a move on by doing the following:

1. Exercise. Enroll in a gym. Wake up early in the morning for a jog. Or walk the dog in the evening. If you find it difficult to schedule a whole hour of workout in your busy schedule, why not break it down into simple 10 minute workouts throughout the day? Instead of using the elevator, why not use the stairs? If you are going out of the house to a place somewhere near, walk!

2. Never skip breakfast. Did you know that people who skip breakfast tend to gain more weight? Make this meal the most important one of the day. Fill yourself with complex carbohydrates like cereals, fruits, and grain breads.

3. Cut out the fat. Avoid fast food and junk food. Snacks and meals that are high in transfat slow down your body’s ability to burn calories.

4. Avoid stress. Some people tend to eat more when they are stressed. If you can’t help it, then allow yourself to de-stress. Ten minute alone times at the end of the day will help you relax. If you want to be more lavish, you can also schedule an hour or two in a spa for some soothing massage.

5. Aside from your daily dose of vitamins, you can also get antioxidants from fresh fruits and vegetables. Try green tea for your hot beverage instead of coffee. It’s been known to aid in faster metabolism.
