Bed-wetting is a common occurence for kids. Some children stop at an early age, while some kids do it later. This is a matter of them learning how to control their bladder. If you’re getting worried about your child’s bed-wetting, here aresome stuff you can do:
Consult with your child’s pediatrician. This is to make sure that the bed-wetting is not caused by any physical illness.
Otherwise, you can start helping your kid control their bladder by limiting fluid intake before going to bed. Kids shouldn’t have any fluid within two hours before bed time. Milk should be taken by this time. As precautionary measure, have your kid go to the bathroom before they sleep.
Do not get angry when your child bet wets. Encourage them to do better next time. You may want them to help you change sheets and thelaundry so that they take responsibility for this. Hoewever, make sure that you do this without making them feel humiliated for it.
