Use your boss’ prefered title. If it’s on first name basis, then good. But if your boss wants to be more formal, then make sure you abide by their preference.
Make sure you observe your boss so you know his or her moods and habits. Knowing these can help you time your entrances when it comes to asking questions or bringing up different matters.
Make sure that you have already exhausted all your efforts and resources in coming up with a solution to a problem before going to your boss about it. They’re already mostly busy with things, and they don’t need to babysit you for something that you can already handle on your own.
