You should teach children to drink more water throughout the day. This will help their organs perform better, making their immune system healthier.
Unfortunately, it can be difficult to make children drink water, especially if they’re at play, and when there are more tempting stuff they can have such as carbonated drinks and sugary beverages.
Carry water with you. You can buy bottled water, or better yet get a thermos which you or your child can bring in their schoolbag. Offer a cup of water every hour.
If your child prefers flavored drinks, you can bring a bottle of fresh fruit juice along with the water. It is imperative though they drink more water than other fluids.
You can also give your child fruits rich in water for snacks such as cantaloupe, watermelon, etc.
