Bubble Fun

Bubbles are always fun to make. Children find them fascinating and adults just love to be kids all over again. This is a perfect lawn activity with your kids during the summer.

For the wand:

  • old wire clothes hanger
  • electrical tape
  • cotton twine

For your bubble wand, bend a wire clothes hanger into a circle. For better bubbles, make sure that the circle is as perfect as possible. Twist one end to form a handle.

For safety, wrap the handle and the sharp edges with electrical tape. Wrap the circle part with a cotton twine so it can absorb more of the bubble solution.

For the solution:

  • 1/2 cup liquid dishwashing soap or baby shampoo
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup of water

Combine all the materials in a mixing bowl and mix gently. Use immediately or you can store it in a plastic container. This solution can make 1 3/4 cups of bubble solution.
