Are you getting frustrated that you can’t seem to get white clothes white? Here are some suggestions to help you with your laundry problems:
Dissolve a tablespoon of borax powder into 2 cups of hot water. Pour this into the last rinse cycle and continue. You will readily see the difference.
Another tip is to let white clothes and sheets sit in a basin of hot water and 1/4 cup of lemon juice. Let them soak for at least an hour. You can even leave the clothes overnight. Wash as usual.
For yellow discoloration caused by sweat such as can be seen under the arms and around the neck of shirts, you can dissolve 5-7 tablets of aspirin into a basin of hot water. Let the clothes or sheets soak for a few hours. Wash as usual.
