How to Make Your Own Fruit Basket

Making fruit baskets is fun and easy. It is also a more inexpensive way of giving presents especially to convalescing friends or relatives. Fruit baskets can be nice gifts to hosts.
Buy an inexpensive woven basket at your local crafts store or farmer’s market. Add ribbons, and some colored tissue as well, if you wish.
Next, get fruits in season. These are also inexpensive compared to fruits that are not. Choose those which won’t bruise easily such as melons, pears, and oranges. You can also buy grapes and strawberries.
Place the fruits in the basket, making sure that the weight of the fruits are equally distributed, balancing the fruits. Place the soft fruits on soft tissue.
You may choose to wrap the whole thing in cellophane and tie it with a ribbon, or if delivery allows it, you can simply tie a nice ribbon the handle of the basket. Don’t forget to place a card on your gift.
