How to Organize Your Study Notes
June 4, 2010 | In: Education

One of the keys to effective studying is by making sure that your notes are organized. Well-organized notes can help you save time.
Use a binder to take notes for each subject. Make sure you have one for each class. Label each section so you do’t mess it up.
Bring only the binders you will need to use that particular day. Leave the others at home.
For loose notes, you can use a hole punch and collate them with your binder notes. do this immediately so you won’t forget.
Use a highlighter or a colored pen to underline important concepts.
For notes you’ve taken from materials in other resources such as text books and journals , you can put them together with related material from class lectures.
Another good way to collate your notes is by retyping them on a word processor and print them. By typing, you also get to repeat concepts in your head. It’s like organizing notes and studying in one.
