Another way is to look for the credit card that has the lowest interest rate and try to transfer the higher interest balances to that card. Just contact your credit card company. They might extend your credit limit if you have a history of paying on it.
If this can not happen, pay down one of the cards until you can transfer the smaller higher interest rate cards one by one. After this, try to pay everything all off until you get down to zero. While you do this, make sure that you pay the the minimum amount in all the other cards.
Once you have paid everything all off, cut off all your credit cards, leaving only one for emergencies and this time, try to control your spending habits.
