Rain can be troublesome while your driving. It can mess up your visibility and it’s no longer a surprise to find out about accidents that happen during the rainy season.
Check your car to make sure that everything works well. Your tires should have enough traction and your windshield wipers should be working properly as well.
When driving, keep your headlights on so that even with a heavy downpour, other motorists can see that you are coming. Leave your windshield wiper on as water splashes can affect your visibility.
Fogging can also decrease your visibility. Use your heater and air conditioner to clear the fog.
Drive slow and avoid tail gating. This will keep you from losing control on slippery roads. Try not to use your breaks so much and with more force than usual. Drive defensively.
