How to Prepare for a Trip to a Theme Park

April 20, 2010 | In: Parenting, Travel

Are you going on a family trip to a theme park? Here are stuff that you shouldn’t forget to bring as you go out and enjoy the rides and entertainment features.

Keep yourself and your kids safe from germs in theme parks by bringing hand sanitizers. You wouldn’t know how many paople have held on those rails and such. Better be safe than sorry.

Save money on food by bringing snack packs and water with you. You can refill your water bottles in the park to keep everyone hydrated.

Snacks such as pretzels, cookies, biscuits, dried fruits are nice options while you wait on those lines to rides. Some theme parks do not allow people to bring food inside. So be sure that you know what is allowed before you bring them with you.

If you have young kids who like eating ice cream and chocolate bars, it is always best to have wet wipes in your bag. This can also cool down the neck and face which have been exposed to the sun. Speaking of which, bring hats or caps and sunscreen.

Don’t forget to bring your camera. Include extra batteries and image storage as well. If you plan to go on water-themed rides, make sure that you bring a water-proof case, even if it’s just a ziplock bag.
