If you’ve got kids coming over for a study group or a playgroup, here are some tips on how to prepare snacks in a snap!
Nutritious but easy to prepare snacks are sandwiches. Use different spreads such as jams, marmalade, cream cheese, cheese, ham, etc. Spread them on bread slices and cut the sandwiches into four triangles.
You can also serve sliced fruits on the side. Apples, melons, berries, and bananas, or other fruit in seasons are good to have on stock, not only for unexpected guests, but for yourself as well. Instead of munching on chips, fruits are better.
If you’re into baking, perhaps a batch of good-old chocolate cookies, or corn muffins could fill little starving tummies.
For drinks, you can have milk, water, or any fruit juice. Fresh fruit juice is always best.
