The best way to make sure that your house sells faster and for more money is to make sure that it makes a good impression on buyers.  Although you are going to make the necessary expenses to make your home much more appealing, remember not to spend too much money that won’t enhance your bottom line.

Make the house clean and spotless even those areas that seem to be hidden- like closets. Don’t forget your yard and landscaping. To placate buyers’ worries about something going wrong with the property get a one-year-home-repair warranty that transfers to the buyer.

Have your house inspected for pests and make the necessary repairs and preventive measures. Include a copy of the clearance so you can share it with buyers.

Decide on which upgrades to make. Carpets, sinks, and light fixtures are the most common upgrades that are done. You can also focus on little fixes that make a big difference such as repainting a wall or cleaning of carpets. Sometimes, cleaning the place makes a big difference too.

First impressions are important so make a grand entrance when showing off your home.
