How to Prevent Razor Burns

Razor bumps can be irritating and at times unsightly. Here are tips on how to prevent them and keep your face smooth and handsome.
Shave after you shower so that the hair is soft and easier to shave. Use new blade so your skin won’t get irritated.
Invest in a good shaving cream. Expect to get razor bumps if you use bar soap. Shaving creams have a special formula to ensure a smooth shave. They also have moisturizers.
Shave only in one direction and make sure you shave along the grain of the hair growth. You may have a closer shave going against, but it damages the hair shaft. Hair the grows back when shaved this way become tough and rough.
Rinse well and use aftershave or lotion when you are done. This will calm irritated skin.
