Dresses can be very expensive so it’s important that we take care of them.
Care begins as soon as you buy the dress. Make sure that the dress you get is mark-free.
Inspect for discolorations, deep creases, loose threads, etc. Better to ask for a different stock.
You may also want to use a garment bag. Do not drag the dress on the ground and hold it as high as you can.
Do not try it often before the day you’ll be wearing it. Some dresses can be delicate so be careful when you do try it on. Hang it where it
won’t be disturbed and where it won’t touch the floor.
Wear your dress after you’ve done your hair and after you’ve put on your make-up.
Store your dress carefully. You can hang it covered by a garment bag or you can keep keep it in a box lined with tissues. Make sure that the closet is cool and dry.
