Traveling Safety
Traveling in places you’ve never been to can be fun and exciting. But don’t let the adventure turn into a nightmare by losing your belongings due to thieves and snatchers. It’s always better to come prepared so you can thoroughly enjoy your holiday.
There are bags and purses that are called anti-theft. These are bags that rest comfortably and securely across one’s body or inside one’s clothing. Most anti-theft purses are lightweight and small so you can only store the essentials such as some money and keys.
Leave very important documents and ID in your hotel safe. Some anti-theft purses are very high-tech. They can have fingerprint detection clasps. Of course they are more expensive, but if money is not an issue, then you can also invest in one of those.
Purses should have long straps. Make sure you position them diagonally from your shoulder across your chest and to your hip. This offers more security. Always keep the bag part in front of you, especially in a crowd.
Always read state department travel advisories for countries you are visiting. Always choose a hotel that is safe. And be very, very cautious.
