Remembering Where Things Are
Are you one of those people who forget where they put their stuff? Here are some tipz on how to help you remember so you wont waste much time looking for them later on.
Use clear plastic storage containers and label them so you can just go and take a peek through the containers without opening them one by one to check what is inside.
Don’t put things down. If you’re carrying keys, carry them until you get to your car. If you’re going to wear your glasses, place them immediately on your face and don’t put them on top of the kitchen table or elsewhere.
Clear out the unnecessary stuff. Clutter can only add to the mayhem. Important things tend to mix with clutter and once they do, they seem to disappear -forever!
Place things where they are needed. Place a key bowl near the door so you can place your keys there once you get home. Place toilet paper in the bathroom cabinet. You get the drift.
Use colors and labels for files and folders to help you locate documents and other paper stuff you need at home. Place them in clear palstic folders for easy checking.
If you are a computer user, you can use home organizing software to track down your things. You simply take an inventory of your things and log them in the program.
