Removing bumper stickers can be a pain, but here are some tipz on how to get rid of those sticky proclamations.
Make sure you have the following tools:
- rags
- rubbing alcohol
- car polish
- lubricant
- rubber spatula
- blow dryer
Use lubricant such as WD-40 and spray it on the sticker. Wait until the sticker is completely soaked and try to pull it off.
If the sticker doesn’t come off clean, you can soften the adhesive by heating it with the blow dryer. Scrape it off with a rubber spatula while continuing to apply more heat. If you are using a putty knife, wrap the blade with duct tape to avoid scratching the car surface.
Dampen a lint-free rag with rubbing alcohol and wipe the remains of the stickers with it. Polish the bumper or panel with car polish. Wax it and buff to a gleam.
