How to Remove Odors from the Microwave

Does your microwave oven stink? Here are the steps to make sure that your microwave oven stays pleasant-smelling:

If the microwave oven starts smelling funky, investigate the problem. You might not have been cleaning the oven regularly so there could be pieces of food or splatters of sauce that are stuch on the plate and the walls.

What you can do is to heat a mug of water inside the microwave for a few minutes and let the steam soften the hardened food pieces. When this is done, you can now wipe the insides of the microwave with a soft clean cloth.

Next, mix half a cup of water and half a cup of vinegar and pur into a microwavable bowl. Leave the bowl inside the oven and turn it on, letting it heat for 3-5 minutes, or when the mixture boils. Open the door of the oven. Let Take the bowl out when it finally cools.
