Saving Kitchen Electricity

There are some ways that you can save electricity when working in your kitchen. Here are some tipz on how to do exactly that.

Clean the coils on the back of your fridge. The dust that collects there makes it difficult for the fridge to dissipate heat. So when you do clean the kitchen, make sure that you take a damp rag and clean those dusts off the refrigerator coils.

Food will keep better if you keep them in appropriately sized airtight containers. They’ll also release less moisture so it makes your refrigerator more efficient.

If you’re using an electric stove top, you can turn it off a few minutes before the cooking is done.Clean burners and reflectors if you’re using a gas range. This will make heating more effectively.

Use compact fluorescent bulbs as they are more efficient than incandescent light bulbs. Turn off the heat dry setting of your dishwasher. Just open your dishwasher door after the wash cycle to dry the dishes.
