How to Save Money on Gifts

To save money on gifts, one must start early. It’s always best to keep a list of people to be given in a year. Think of the special holidayswhen you need to give presents to friends or relatives. The most basic would be be birthdays, and Christmas.
Set aside a budget for gifts. You may want to aim for a total budget or an individual budget.
Be alert about sales- most of these are seasonal. Clearance sales are also a good time to shop.
Simply bring your list with you and see if there is anything that you can give to any of the people
in your list. Spreading out your shopping throughout the year will not leave you a huge dent on your budget, like when you do a one-time shopping at the end of the year.
If you don’t mind giving the same gifts to everyone, you can also buy in bulk. For example, if you see a sale on neckties, you might want to buy neckties (in different colors and prints, of course) for the men in your family. You can do this for scarves and pashminas too, which are wonderful gifts
for the ladies.
