How to Sell Old Textbooks

One thing about textbooks, is that you rarely use them after you’re done with them. The most practical thing to do then is to sell them and here is how:
You can try selling your old textbooks to the bookstore where you bought them. Just don’t expect to be paid the same amount that you bought them for. The earlier you can sell your books the better, as the prices can get very low if there are a lot of books in stock.
You can also try advertising in campus bulletin boards or online. There might be other students who will be needing the same books. You can also name your price if you sell in this manner.
You can also just go to a friend who you know will take the same subjects. You can make a deal with them about the price.
The last resort you can take is by selling your old textbooks to any used bookstore. This is considered the last resort as you would not have much say in the price and they would probably buy your “goods” for a very low amount.
One point of consideration is that you make sure that you take care of your books. The better the condition they are in, the more chances of you selling them near their original price. Some enterprising students even include copies of their notes with the books and sell the “package” for a higher price.
