How to Send Balloons to a Patient in a Hospital
August 29, 2010 | In: Behavior and Manners

Balloons, like any other gifts, can be a fun and creative way of sending your best wishes to a sick friend or relative who is in the hospital for confinement.
Before sending anything, may it be balloons or something else, always contact the hospital and find out if they allow it. They might also have certain rules about it. Some hospitals can be helpful enough to even name gift shops which can send balloons over to the hospital.
Next, find out when the patient is scheduled to go home, just to be on the safe side. It might be better to send the balloons to their home instead of to the hospital if your friend or relative is about to go home within one to two days.
There are get-well balloons and soem stores even offer packages (complete with flowers or a gift basket). Try to call around first. Don’t forget to ask if they do deliveries, and if they have a coverage area for it. Or, if they charge extra for the delivery.
