How to Shine Leather Shoes

Here are some tips and suggestions on how to shine boots and other leather shoes:
You will need a polishing kit. You can buy one at shoe stores or you can assemble one of your own.
The kit should contain the following:
- Shoe polish
- Small drop cloth
- Soft rags
- Shining cloth
- Small plastic dish for water
Use the drop cloth the protect your work area. Get yoru small dish and fill it with water.
Open the shoe polish can. Wrap your index and middle fingers with a soft rag. Wet the cloth with the water and rub it unto the shoe polish. Apply a small amount of polish on the shoe or boot. Do this in small circular motions.
When the shoe is covered with polish, leave the polish on the shoes for a few minutes. Take another clean cloth and wrap it around your fingers. Rub it against the leather. You can now see the leather starting to shine. What you are doing now is taking the polish off the shoes.
Give the shoes a final rub with the shining cloth.
