How to Stop Getting Credit Card Offers

February 17, 2010 | In: Banking, Featured, General, Personal

Credit card offers can be exasperating, especially if you get them all the time.

Always read the privacy policy of any form that you are filling out for merchants and banks. Make sure that you check the “opt out” box when you come to the “receive promotions and offers” portion.

Ask your bank or credit card company if you can be removed from pre-screened credit and insurance offers. This will help you in keeping those offers at bay.

Ignore the offers. However, make sure that you burn or shred the papers before you throw them away as they contain sensitive information and we don’t want them getting into the wrong hands.
