Accessories such as scarves, belts, handbags, and shoes can break or make a particular look. Investing in proper and not to mention wonderful accessories is a wise decision. The only thing you’ll have to do now is to make sure you take care of them to make sure they last so you’ll be able to maximize their use.

Keep your shoes dust free. Avoid them getting squashed or scratched. Buy some clear shoe storage boxes so you’ll know which ones are which (or you can also do some labeling if you will, or better yet, stick a picture of it on the end). You can stack them in the closet and you can also retrieve your shoes as they have opening flaps at the end.

Keep your handbags in their original shape. There are handbag hangers available in home and garden sections of stores. You can hang your bags in your closet if you have the space. To minimize scratching, you can also protect bags using plain old pillow slips. Just make sure that the material won’t scratch the leather.

Keep your hats in hat boxes. There are hat boxes large enough to store more than one hat. You can store berets and beaines in drawers or you can hang them unto hooks.

Keep your costume jewelry on a pin board. This will avoid nasty tangles. You will also be able to see the jewelry without rummaging through tin boxes.

Keep your scarves and belts folded or rolled in a drawer. Buy mini dividers so you can keep them from getting mixed up. Or you can also hang them from hooks on the wall. There aer specialized hangers that will allow you to store multiple items in one hanger.
