How to Survive a Boring Class
June 18, 2010 | In: Education

Even the most diligent student will have to encounter a class that is so boring, that he will have no choice but to do the unforgiveable – not listen!
If this happens, here are some things a student can do to survive a sleep-inducing class.
Grab your notebook and your pen. The best way to pass the time in a boring class is to take down notes. Write everything on the board and copy whatever you can from the slides your teacher is showing. Jot down whatever (you think) important that you hear from your teacher.
Self-study. Get your text book and do your own studying at your desk. You can stay on the topic that your teacher is discussing so you’ll be safe just in case the teacher asks you a question out of the blue. If you’re done with the current topic, then do some advance studying.
You can also do the following, but only if you can pull it off. Remember, you’ll be at risk to get called out in class and in worse cases, be sent to the Principal’s office.
1) Do homework for other subjects. If you have unfinished homeowrk, this is now your chance to finish it.
2) Pass notes with other students.
3) Doodle or write poetry.
